About Nymbol
Built by Someone Who Knows Restaurants
Before Nymbol ever existed, I spent most of my life working in restaurants.
I started when I was fifteen years old, working late nights at a small-town casino restaurant. Not long after, our town got its first Applebee's. At the time it felt like the biggest thing our community had ever seen.
That job taught me what real restaurant work looks like.
There was an internal clock you couldn't ignore. Within two minutes guests had menus and drinks. A few minutes later appetizers were on the way. Soon after that dinner orders were already in. The pace was fast, structured, and demanding.
Corporate restaurant training was intense, but it taught me discipline, timing, and what great service looks like when it's done right.
After seven years, I moved to a local Mexican restaurant where the atmosphere was more relaxed and community-driven. Eventually I landed at a martini bar where I learned to bartend and make craft cocktails.
That place became home for a while. I helped shape parts of the menu, worked my way into management, and had some of the best years of my restaurant career there.
Restaurants have a way of becoming part of who you are.
The Restaurant Experience Starts Before Guests Walk In
Restaurants are incredible at hospitality in person.
But restaurant websites often struggle to provide the same helpful experience online.
Guests visit a website with questions like:
- What should I order?
- Do you have vegetarian options?
- What wine pairs well with the steak?
- What are tonight's specials?
Most of the time those questions go unanswered until guests arrive.
I believed there was a way to bring that same helpful guidance online.
Why I Built Nymbol
Nymbol was created to bring the experience of a great server or bartender to the restaurant website.
Instead of guests searching through menus or waiting until they arrive to ask questions, Nymbol helps guide them through the menu, recommend dishes, highlight specials, and suggest pairings.
It can also help guests request reservations and stay connected with the restaurant through updates and events.
The goal is simple:
Help guests arrive confident in their choices.
When guests feel confident, restaurants run smoother, staff can focus on service, and the dining experience becomes better for everyone.
Built With Restaurants in Mind
Restaurants are one of the hardest industries there is. The pace is relentless, the expectations are high, and every night is a performance.
Nymbol was built with deep respect for that reality.
It isn't meant to replace the human side of hospitality.
It's meant to support it.
A Personal Note
Outside of restaurants and technology, I'm also a single mom raising two daughters who inspire me every day. They remind me constantly that the future is something worth building with intention.
Nymbol is part of that future.
Our Mission
To make restaurant websites as welcoming and helpful as the dining room itself.
